Das Ehepaar Harry und Debbie Wilson zieht mit ihrer Tochter Annie und ihrem Adoptivsohn Dixon von Kansas nach Beverly Hills in das Haus von Harrys reicher Mutter, einer abgetakelten, skurrilen Schauspielerin.
